APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA, February 18, 2019 — Today, Dark Myth Publications (a division of The JayZoMon Dark Myth Company) announced its online literary magazine The World of Myth would hold a publishing contest titled the Open Contract Challenge.

The concept of the contest is for anyone who believes they have an item that can be published, which means any of the following: Novels, Novellas, Novelettes, kid books, comic books, graphic novels, cookbooks, instructional (how-to) books, poetry books and books of artwork.

Anyone who met the simple requirements of having a product mentioned above and had been a former contributor of the magazine at least once may enter the contest by going to the website www.opencontractchallenge.com and then enter their best pitch.

The contest is divided into four stages:
 

• ROUND ONE: Pitch – If you want to enter the Open Contract Challenge, send the judges your pitch for a book. Only Ten (10) pitches will be chosen to move on.

• QUARTERFINALS: One Chapter – Send in Chapter One of your manuscript. Make sure it has a hook! Only five (5) contestants will go on.

• SEMI FINALS: Synopsis – Next round will see your synopsis of your manuscript. Make sure that you write a proper synopsis as only Two (2) contestants will enter the finals.

• FINALS: Manuscript – The final step in your journey to win the Open Contract Challenge is to submit your manuscript. Make it the best possible product, entirely written and edited to the best of your abilities.
