​Apple Valley, CA, October 31, 2022 – The JayZoMon Dark Myth, LLC., today announced that David K. Montoya has decided to step down as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Publisher; the Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Stephanie J. Bardy as CEO and a member of the Board, effective January 1, 2023. Montoya will remain a member of the Board until his term expires at the 2022 December Board meeting. Walter G. Esselman was named the new Chairman of the Board, succeeding Montoya, who will remain on the Board and continue to serve as a director. Bardy has been with The JayZoMon Dark Myth, LLC., since 2019 and has served as Chief Financial Officer until this promotion. In addition, Kevin Adams, who has served as an Independent Director for the Board, was named the new Publisher for the company, taking on all publishing brands beginning the new year.

"After some very serious thought, I have decided to leave because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founder. My trust in Stephanie as JayZoMon Dark Myth's CEO is beyond words. Her work has been phenomenal, proving her leadership qualities continuously. I'm deeply grateful for her skill, love, and soul. It's her time to shine at the front line," said Montoya. "In this time away, I will focus on writing and my health."

Walter G. Esselman, JayZoMon Dark Myth's incoming Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, "Dave has laid a strong foundation upon which to build. I am humbled that he would trust me with the keys to the kingdom. And, as much as I enjoy working with him, as his friend, I'm happy that he's going to be focusing on his health."

Esselman noted, "Stephanie Bardy is the perfect choice for this position. While Dave will always be the heart, Steph has been the backbone of the company for some time now. With her in the lead, I look forward to helping her to push this company to new heights."

In other news, the Board announced that Walter G. Esselman, a member of the JayZoMon Dark Myth Board since 2020, has been named Chairman of the Board, effective January 1, 2023. Esselman succeeds Montoya, who will remain a member of the Board and serve as a director. Esselman has significant leadership experience as Chairman of the Leadership Board.
