​Apple Valley, CA, November 21, 2022 – The JayZoMon Dark Myth Company announced that its Chief Business Officer, L. Alan Russo Jr., has decided to step down from his position and from the Board of Directors effective January 1st, 2023.

Russo has been with the company as Chief Business Officer and a Director of the Board since 2021 and has been a creative figure since 2000. This year, he finished his writings as co-author for the comic book series, "American Smash," and said it would be his final writing project for the company.

Before becoming CBO, Russo worked as Myth Mart's General Manager and was a key component in the 2021 relaunch and warehouse stationing. Prior to that, he was the Co-Founder and Publisher of Zombie Works until it became an imprint of Dark Myth Publications. Russo's departure will allow him the much-needed time to continue his education in the medical field, as he currently holds an Associate of Science Degree in Paramedicine.

"It is a sad day as I say that I will be stepping down as Chief Business Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. I will still be involved within other aspects of the company," said Russo. "After 20 years with the company, I have done so much around the company in different positions. This is not a goodbye to the company that I have loved working in for so long. It is just a step down due to personal reasons. I will still be around working and creating. To all of the followers throughout the years, I want to say thank you!"

Russo has also named his replacement, and the Board of Directors has approved Joshua C. Addante, who was the former Assistant Administer for the first JayZoMon's Pop Culture Expo in 2020 but did not continue after moving away from California.

Addante is charged with leading a new version of the Advisory Committee as well as holding Russo's seat on the Board of Directors.

Russo will continue all duties until the first day of the new year.
